Portable Air Conditioner Plexiglass Window Panel
Beat the heat this summer with a custom-cut clear plexiglass window panel for your portable air conditioner unit, complete with a custom exhaust hole that clips into your AC panel.
CNC cut from a durable 3/16” thickness (4.5 mm), your plexiglass insert can be made to fit any window or sliding door. It’s crystal clear, letting in the natural light while keeping hot exhaust air from re-entering your home.
Simply select the range your smaller dimension falls into from the drop-down and enter the exact height x width measurements after clicking “purchase”. For example, if your height and width dimensions are 19” H x 49” W, you can select 18” to 23” from the drop-down menu since 19” is your smaller dimension and falls into this range.
Once your order is placed, bring your diagram with measurements for your panel and drop off your AC vent kit, and we’ll match the exhaust hole for your specific portable air conditioner onto your custom AC panel. You can also email your measurements and a photo of your adapter along with the make and model of your portable AC if you’d like to save yourself the trip.
Easily install the plexiglass insert for your portable AC with velcro strips, included in your order (6 ft). Using Velcro allows you to easily add and remove your plexiglass window panel whenever you like.
Each clear plexiglass panel is custom-cut to fit your space and portable AC unit. They are made-to-order and CNC fabricated in our Vancouver shop. Our turnaround is 7-9 days when your order is placed and AC Adapter is dropped off or the information is emailed.

Learn how to measure your window frame for a custom plexiglass AC panel designed to fit snugly and work perfectly with portable air conditioners. This quick guide shows how to get accurate measurements, including around latches or crank handles, so your panel sits flush and seals properly with a 1" Velcro border. A clean, modern solution for insulating your space without permanent changes.
How to Measure Your Window for Your Custom Plexiglass AC Panel
To measure your window for a custom plexiglass AC panel, follow these steps:
For a casement window or a swing-out window, your custom plexiglass panel will rest directly on the window frame and be secured with the Velcro included in your order. To ensure a precise fit, we’ll need to make cutouts around any hardware, like cranks or locks, so the panel can sit flush. Be sure to leave a 1/4" clearance on each side of the notch. For instance, if the hardware is 2" wide, the notch should be at least 2.5" wide in total to give enough room.
For side hardware, you’ll want to add that 1/4" tolerance to the height of the notch instead. When measuring bottom notches, start from the bottom edge of the panel and measure up to where the window opening begins. For side notches, measure from the side edge of the panel in toward the opening.

For a sliding window, you can add a partial plexiglass panel. Open your sliding window to the size you’d like your plexiglass panel to be. Find the height by measuring from inside the top track to the window frame edge on the bottom. It’s important not to measure inside the track at the bottom of your piece since it will make your panel too large for your window.
